Alice L. Deshaies

Alice L. (Carberry) Deshaies, 93, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph N. Deshaies. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Charles and Marion (Lavey) Carberry. Mrs. Deshaies was a dental assistant for many years before retiring in 1987. She has been a Greenville resident since 1966 and a member of the Smithfield & Johnston Senior Centers. She loved playing bingo and high-low jack.

She was the mother of Denise A. Trainor and her husband Kevin of Greenville and the late Robert J. Deshaies. She was the loving Nana of Allison V. Trainor and Kyle P. Trainor. She was the sister of the late Catherine Murphy, Marion Benck, Elizabeth Bushell, Edward and Donald Carberry.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 8:30am, from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visitation, Monday, March 27, 2023 from 4-7pm. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
