Kent Leroy Heinzman was born April 9, 1960 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Robert and Marilyn Heinzman. He is survived by his father Robert, sister Roberta, brothers David, Russell, Josh, Jay and Randy. He was preceded in death by his mother Marilyn and sister Kathy. Kent attended Bethany Grade School, Culler Junior High School and Lincoln East High School. After high school, he enrolled and graduated from the UNL Business College. After working for several hotels as night business manager, Kent was employed by Orkin Pest Control as a Branch Manager. He managed branches in Des Moines IA, Peoria IL, Grand Island and Lincoln NE. He served in the Nebraska, and later California National Guard, as a tank crewman. Kent was an avid reader and interested in the stock market and various investment opportunities. He died quietly at home February 28, 2023 after a short bout with liver cancer. Services will be held at a later date.
