<p>Isabel A. Keppel, age 81, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest in Allentown, PA. Isabel was born in Summit, NJ, raised in North Plainfield, NJ, resided in Pompton Lakes,NJ, and was a resident of Dingmans Ferry, PA, since 2000.</p><p><br></p><p>After graduating from North Plainfield High School, Isabel furthered her education at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA, earning a BS in Home Economics in 1963. She was a teacher for West Essex Regional School District from 1963 to 2000.</p><p><br></p><p>Isabel was a member of St. Vincent DePaul in Dingman Township, PA, St. Vincent DePaul Seniors, and the Dingman Delaware Historical Society. She enjoyed volunteering at Gray Towers in Milford, Craft Shows, exercising, and hiking.</p><p><br></p><p>Isabel is predeceased by her two brothers, Charles Richard Keppel in 2006 and Benjamin Keppel in 2008. </p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her siblings, Marilou Allgor and her husband Jim, Joseph Keppel and his wife Kathy, and Mike Keppel and his wife Becky, and many nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A Mass will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel, 167 Mount Bethel Road, Warren, NJ. An interment will follow at St. Teresa’s Cemetery in Summit, NJ.</p>
