<p>Mrs. Claudia Meysen Kolster, 64, of Aiken, SC passed away Saturday evening, March 18, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.</p><p><br></p><p>Born on July 16, 1958 in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Gerhard &amp; Marianne Meysen Wilke. Claudia enjoyed a successful career in the banking business as Vice President at Citibank in NY and Core States Bank in Philadelphia. She left the corporate world to pursue her passion in horticulture. In addition to being an avid home gardener and volunteer, she became an Essex County Master Gardner in NJ, and was a member of the NJ Native Plant Society. She was the Garden Director at the Presby Memorial Iris Gardens in Montclair NJ and also served as President of the Grover Cleveland Park Conservancy in Caldwell NJ. She is survived by her husband Dave, Her sister Bettina Kokinakis and her husband Karl and their children Brianna Elliott, Kristos, Luke and Alex Kokinakis.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial Services will be held at a later date.</p><p><br></p><p>The Historic George Funeral Home &amp; Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803) 649-6234 has charge of arrangements.</p><p><br></p><p>Online expressions of sympathy for the family may be left by visiting www.georgefuneralhomes.com.</p>
