Wilma J. Lewandowski, 89, of Lambertville, Michigan, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Hampton Manor of Bedford. Wilma was born September 4, 1933, and was the daughter of G. Richard and Katherine (Stellmacher) Krueck. She attended Lincoln Elementary and then graduated from Scott High School in 1951. Wilma met John C. Lewandowski while working at Enterprise Roofing and Sheet Metal. They married on March 19, 1955 and made Lambertville their home since 1960. He preceded her in death on September 23, 1987. Wilma was employed for 25 years at the Lambertville Post Office, retiring in 1998. Wilma had also worked for Bedford Schools Adult Education. She was an active member of Lambertville United Methodist Church, where she was past church secretary, and worked funeral luncheons. She was also a member of the Lambertville Civic Club and the Lambertville Educational Club.

Wilma is survived by her loving children, Timothy (Julie) Lewandowski, Jeff (Sandy) Lewandowski and Lori (George) Welling; grandchildren, Aubrey Lewandowski, Timothy Lewandowski, II, Ben (Lauren) Lewandowski, Jenna Lewandowski, Amy (Scott) Panozzo, Daniel (Kylie) Welling, David Welling, Katie Welling and Steven Welling; great grandchildren, Evelyn, Bennett, Billy, Oliver, Aurora, Grant, Hudson, and Penelope. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Krueck.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Friday, March 24, 2023, at Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Lambertville United Methodist Church, 8165 Douglas Rd, Lambertville, MI 48144, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am.
