<p>Bonnie Marie (Belfry) Snell, age 102 formerly of L'Anse, MI passed away on Saturday, March 18th, 2023 at Canal View in Hancock, MI.<br> <br> She was born December 6, 1920 in Orange, West Virginia daughter to Marion and Lucy (Wells) Collins. She graduated from L'Anse High School in 1939. Bonnie married Douglas Belfry, he passed away in 1976. She resided in Gaylord, MI were she was a involved with RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program). In 1999 Bonnie moved back to L'Anse and was a member of the L'Anse Baptist Church.<br> <br> Surviving are her three sons, Terry Belfry of Harperwoods, MI, Dale (Rebecca) Belfry of Roseville, MI, Kevin (Ellen) Belfry of Beverly Hills, FL; brother Merle (Yvonne) Collins of Rochester, MI; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.<br> <br> Preceding her in death are her parents; husband Douglas Belfry; numerous brothers and sisters.<br> <br> Burial will take place in the spring in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery. She was born December 6, 1920 in Orange, West Virginia daughter to Marion and Lucy (Wells) Collins. She graduated from L'Anse High School in 1939. Burial will take place in the spring in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery. Jacobson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
