<p>Murl Joseph Peradotti, age 87, of Edwardsville, IL died at 9:57 pm on Saturday March 18, 2023, at his residence which was also the place of his birth to the late John A. and Edith (Krotz) Peradotti on November 11, 1935, in Pin Oak Township, IL.</p><p><br></p><p>He married Mayleen (May) Mezzano on November 5, 1960, at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville, IL. She survives.</p><p><br></p><p>Besides his wife, Murl is survived by a son, Michael J. Peradotti of Edwardsville, IL; two sisters - Phyllis Lucker (the late Jim) of Bethalto, IL and Mary Jane VanWinkle (the late Charlie) of Edwardsville, IL, sister-in-law Irene Mezzano of Edwardsville, IL, and several nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Murl started at Shell Oil Company as a Machinist rising to Refinery Craft Coordinator before retiring after 33 years of service. He was also a veteran of the Army Reserves. Murl was an avid sportsman, an accomplished wood craftsman, and a lifelong member at Edwardsville Gun Club. He loved to golf, trap shoot, hunt, and fish. He was also a member of St. Boniface Church in Edwardsville, IL.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville, with the memorial service immediately following. His ashes will be interred at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Glen Carbon following the service.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Boniface Church in Edwardsville, IL or the Edwardsville, IL High School Trap Club.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
