<p>Carl Robert Robinson of Ellettsville passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the age of 53.</p><p><br></p><p>Carl was the son of Carole Suzanne (Robinson) Kinley born in Bloomington on January 29, 1970. &nbsp;He attended Bloomington North High School and after graduation began his career in the Facilities Maintenance Department of Indiana University. &nbsp;Carl retired after 20 years working at IU. &nbsp;Carl was an avid parishioner at the Ellettsville First Baptist Church, attending each service. &nbsp;He enjoyed building and operating remote controlled cars, trucks and planes. &nbsp;He also enjoyed fishing, video games, bar b queuing, and monster truck rally's. &nbsp;Carl was an accomplished bowler in the church bowling league.</p><p><br></p><p>Carl will be missed by his Aunts and Uncles, Gregory and Diana Robinson, Barry and Lynn Robinson, and Mary Lou Shelly; Half-Sisters, Angela Kinley and Traci Alltop and several cousins and other family members and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his Mother, and Grandparents, Robert and Mary Jane Robinson.</p><p><br></p><p>Graveside Funeral Services will be held at Methodist Cemetery in Ellettsville on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 3:30 pm. &nbsp;Reverend Mark Villanova of the Ellettsville First Baptist Church will officiate the service. &nbsp;Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville is assisting with arrangements. &nbsp;Share condolences, memories and more with Carl's family by visiting his tribute page at www.chandlerfh.com</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to the Ellettsville First Baptist Church, &nbsp;115 South Sale Street, Ellettsville, IN 47429 </p>
