Carl Robert Robinson
<p>Carl Robert Robinson of Ellettsville passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the age of 53.</p><p><br></p><p>Carl was the son of Carole Suzanne (Robinson) Kinley born in Bloomington on January 29, 1970. He attended Bloomington North High School and after graduation began his career in the Facilities Maintenance Department of Indiana University. Carl retired after 20 years working at IU. Carl was an avid parishioner at the Ellettsville First Baptist Church, attending each service. He enjoyed building and operating remote controlled cars, trucks and planes. He also enjoyed fishing, video games, bar b queuing, and monster truck rally's. Carl was an accomplished bowler in the church bowling league.</p><p><br></p><p>Carl will be missed by his Aunts and Uncles, Gregory and Diana Robinson, Barry and Lynn Robinson, and Mary Lou Shelly; Half-Sisters, Angela Kinley and Traci Alltop and several cousins and other family members and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his Mother, and Grandparents, Robert and Mary Jane Robinson.</p><p><br></p><p>Graveside Funeral Services will be held at Methodist Cemetery in Ellettsville on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 3:30 pm. Reverend Mark Villanova of the Ellettsville First Baptist Church will officiate the service. Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville is assisting with arrangements. Carl was one of the nicest people I had the opportunity to work with. Always a smile and happy. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a fine Christian man.
