<p>Patricia Diane Grates, 69, of Kittanning, died on Saturday March 18, 2023 in UPMC Magee -Womens Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born on August 28, 1953 in Kittanning to the late William Joseph & Emijean Dolores (Lloyd ) Grates. Trish was a homemaker who enjoyed Crocheting, crafts and working in the yard. Left behind to forever cherish her memory are her sons; Jason Grates and wife Shelly (Hewitt), and Edward Grates. Her companion of 42 years; Randy “Newt” McGinnis. 3 Grandchildren; Jasmine Grates, Brandon Grates and Blake Grates, and her sister; Debra Grates. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 4 brothers; Topper, Kenneth, Joe and Mike Grates and 2 sisters; Betty Anthony and Lynn Anthony. Per Patricia’s wishes there will be no viewing or services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital in her name.</p>Obituary
