Leslie Jean Bolinder Obituary

On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, Leslie Jean Bolinder, daughter, wife, and mother of three children, passed away at the age of 68.

Leslie was born on November 25, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Donald and Loa Jean (Williams) Proctor. She grew up in Grantsville, Utah and graduated as the valedictorian of Grantsville High School. She married Marv Bolinder on July 6, 1973. They had two sons, Marcus and Brian, and a daughter, Lauren.

Leslie had a passion for creativity. She enjoyed quilting, scrapbooking, painting, and making pajama pants and pillow cases for grandchildren. Her creativity was recognized and enjoyed by nearly everyone she knew. Gardening, canning, and preserving were a labor of love for Leslie, and she was more than happy to share her skills and goods with friends. She was known for her work ethic, kindness, and energy.

Leslie loved to give and to serve. She gave freely of her time and talents to everyone she met. She enjoyed the personal interactions provided by her career, church callings, and shopping trips. Her enthusiasm left a lasting impression everywhere she went. Her ability to give was cut too short.

Leslie is survived by her sons Marcus (Lara) and Brian; grandchildren Kainoa, Lucas, Leah, Hemaile, Ryne, Grace, and Nick; her beloved Golden Retriever Trooper; brothers Larry and Paul, sister Sara, and many nieces, nephews, and family too numerous to list but not forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marv, daughter, Lauren, and her parents, Donald and Loa Jean.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Fausett Mortuary, 720 North Center Street, Castle Dale, Utah 84513 at 12:30 p.m. MDT. There will be no public viewing. Burial will follow at the Ferron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that friends and family consider a gift to a charity of their choice in memory of Leslie. The family expresses its sincere and heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Good Living Senior Care in Price, Utah and CNS Nursing Services for the loving care provided to Leslie during her illness.
