<p>Kenneth Ritchie, age 85, of Long Road, Morehead, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Homestead Post Acute in Lexington. </p><p>Born January 30, 1938, in Rowan County, he was the son of Jason Ritchie and Clara Thompson Ritchie.&nbsp; In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Rowena Ritchie on January 30, 2010. </p><p>He is survived by his wife, Madalene Long Ritchie; three children:&nbsp; Alan Ritchie of New Castle, Indiana, Debbie Williams of Connersville, Indiana, and Chelsie Thompson of Indianapolis, Indiana; three stepchildren:&nbsp; Arlene Kay Hampton of Morehead, Darlene Fay Ramey of Olive Hill, and Ora Butler, Jr., of Morehead; one brother: William “Bill” Ritchie of Owingsville; seven grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren; extended family and friends. </p><p>Kenneth served in the U.S. Army and owned and operated Ritchie’s Garage in Dunreith, Indiana, for more than 50 years.&nbsp; He was a member of Slab Camp Christian Church.&nbsp; </p><p>Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Northcutt &amp; Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Herbie Lewis and Pastor Tim Dykes officiating. Kenneth Ritchie, age 85, of Long Road, Morehead, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Homestead Post Acute in Lexington.
