<p>Christopher J. Dick, 73, of Jessup died Saturday March 18, 2023 at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit. His wife of 41 years is the former Rose Fumanti.</p><p>Born in White Plains, New York he was the son of the late Raymond and Alida Lorraine Dick. A graduate of Westlake High School in New York, he attended State University of New York at Purchase. He proudly served in the United States Army overseas in Vietnam.</p><p>Chris was an avid and skilled collector of guitars. He loved to play music and sing his "oldies". He also loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle on sunny days with his fellow veterans. He was proud to be a member of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association and was very active in helping and supporting the veteran community. His love for motorcycles and guitars fell second only to the love he had for his family. Chris was the "Mr. Fix It" of our family and was always just a phone call away for anyone that needed him. The proudest "Poppy" around, his grandchildren were the light of his life and he made certain that they knew this every day. They adored their Poppy as much as he adored them. Chris was the ultimate family man and lived his life being kind, warm, loving, and generous - a beautiful legacy that will be carried on through all who knew and loved him. </p><p>Chris’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Hospice of the Sacred Heart.</p><p>Also surviving are daughters Christen Mishura, and husband Corey, Olyphant, Jennifer Snyder and husband Jamie, South Abington Twp.; son Jack Dabney and wife Tricia, Jermyn; 6 grandchildren Hadley and Colten Mishura, Adalyn, and Matthew Snyder, and Michael Ball and Elliana Dabney; brothers Raymond and wife Jeanette, Edward, Paul and wife Cindy, several nieces and nephews.</p><p>He was preceded in death by sister-in-law Carole Dick.</p><p>The funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St., Jessup, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Queen of Angels Parish at St. Michael’s Church, First Avenue, Jessup. Interment with military honors will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Jessup. Friends and family may pay their respects Tuesday from 5 – 7 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Christopher's name to Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Chapter PA-22-9, PO Box 115 Waymart, PA 18472.</p><p><br></p>

Christopher J. Dick, 73, of Jessup died Saturday March 18, 2023 at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit. His wife of 41 years is the former Rose Fumanti.
