<p>Jerry Francis Sellers, 83 a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on March 18, 2023, at his home in Lake Jackson, Tx. with his loving wife, Mary by his side.</p><p><br></p><p>Jerry was born on September 1, 1939, in Liberty, Tx to Van and Edna Sellers. He married his high school sweetheart, Mary Edith Taylor on August 21, 1958, and they were married for over 64 years. Together, they raised their children, Jerry Alan and Stacie Lynn and enjoyed a life full of love, laughter, and adventure.</p><p><br></p><p>After serving 5 years in the Navy, Jerry &amp; Mary moved from California to Angleton, Tx where they resided for 41 years. In 2006, they moved to Houston, Tx and in 2019, they settled in Lake Jackson, Tx. Jerry worked for Dow Chemical for over 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially camping during the summers at Lake Somerville and in New Braunfels. After retiring, he &amp; Mary enjoyed traveling the US in their motorhome, vacationing to various tropical islands, and visiting overseas destinations. He also loved coaching baseball, fishing, boating, and playing golf as often as he could.</p><p>Jerry was preceded in death by his parents: Van and Edna Sellers, his brother, EW Sellers, and his sisters, Ruth Reid and Ruby LaFour.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his wife Mary; his son: Jerry Alan (Jeri) Sellers; his daughter: Stacie Arthur; his grandchildren, Cass, Shelby, Kelsey, and Haven as well as Joshua, Bryce, Braylin and Jayce; his great-grandchildren, Alejandro (Trip) and Justin; and many nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Visitation services for Jerry will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. The funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 2:00pm at Palms Funeral Home, followed by interment services at Angleton Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>Jerry will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and his love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.</p><p><br></p>
