<p>Ronald L. Spears Sr., 76 years old of Elmwood Place, Ohio passed suddenly March 15th 2023. </p><p>Ronald was born September 17th, 1946, to Emmitt and Nannie Faye Spears of Cincinnati, Ohio. Lifelong residents of Elmwood Place. </p><p>Ronald was proceeded in death by his wife Crystal Kaye Spears (Hatter) of 49 years; sister Joann Spears; parents Emmitt & Faye Spears. </p><p> He is survived by his children, Ron Spears Jr. (Carolyn) of Cincinnati Ohio. Paula Thompson (Nicolas) of Cincinnati, Ohio. </p><p>10 Grandchildren: John Beatty; Terry (Debbie) Spears; Matthew (Samantha) Spears; Tyler & Samantha Hoelmer; Nicholas Hoelmer; Tabitha Lawson; Sarah Theis; Maggie Peddicore; Andrew Thompson. </p><p>6 Great-grandchildren: Chase Spears; Carson Spears; Emmitt Hoelmer; Daniel Raider; Devon Raider; Donovan Raider. </p><p>Brothers: Don Spears (Joan); Jerry Spears (Micki); and sister Dianna Laurence (Steve); several nieces and nephews along with an army of kids that referred to him as Gpa. </p><p>Layout will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home 7401 Vine Street, Cincinnati Ohio 45216; Thursday, March 23nd from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. </p><p>A second Layout will be held at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home, 545 KY Hwy 328 West, Waynesburg, Kentucky 40489; Saturday, March 25th from 12:00 - 2:00pm. </p><p>Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25th at Barnett, Demrow and Friend Funeral Home. </p><p>In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to KP Hall Cemetery: KP Hall Cemetery, ATT: David Gooch </p><p>175 Valley View Drive, Stanford, Kentucky 40484. </p><p>Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home, Waynesburg, is entrusted with Ronald’s arrangements.
