<p>DONNA LEE (BALDWIN) COMER, 70 of York, PA died peacefully in her home in the early hours of Saturday, March 18, 2023. Married on September 27, 1969 to her loving husband, Robert Garl Comer, they had shared over 53 years of marriage.</p><p><br></p><p>Born on July 19, 1952, Donna was the 5th of 11 children born to the late Henry and Nina (Boothe) Baldwin and attended the former Lower Chanceford Elementary School from 1958 – 1964. She continued her education at Kennard Dale High School in Fawn Grove, PA from 1965 - 1969. Donna was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother. She was a longtime member of Bethany Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday School and served as treasurer for over 10 years. She had a strong faith in God having been saved in 1975. </p><p><br></p><p>Donna was an author with five books published; furthermore, these books are still available on Amazon: A Day for A Day; A Child A Mother Should Love Volumes 1 and 2; Where Do I Belong and My Christmas Wish. Known to all as “Meemoo” once her first grandchild Ashlee came along, she will be remembered as a devoted wife, dedicated mother, grandmother and a great grandmother, a true witness of Jesus Christ and a dear friend. Her family would like everyone to reflect upon – 2 Corinthians 5:8 “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”and they are using these words to celebrate her life.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her husband, she is survived by:</p><p>Four children-</p><p>Pamela Ann Attig and her husband, Steve</p><p>Lisa Mae Attig and her husband, Jeff</p><p>Robert Gerald Comer</p><p>Samuel Pierce Comer</p><p><br></p><p>Six siblings-</p><p>Philip Eugene Baldwin, Barbara Ann Raniolo, Theresa Kay Place, Susan Elizabeth Heiges, Terry Baldwin and Bonnie Lou Wise. </p><p><br></p><p>Six grandchildren-Ashlee Attig Hyde, Kyrsten Attig Marchini, Cari Attig Krivacsy, Tyler Lee Attig, Nathan Paul Comer and Vanessa Lee Comer.</p><p><br></p><p>Two great grandchildren-Jackson Tyler Krivacsy and Sullivan Reed Hyde.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her infant son, Thomas Edward Comer; siblings-Gloria Jean Rudicille, Kenneth Robert Baldwin, Steven Wayne Baldwin and William Henry Baldwin.</p><p><br></p><p>Services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Bethany Baptist Church, 4162 Delta, Road, Airville, PA 17302 with a viewing from 2- 3 p.m. followed immediately with the funeral service. Co-officiating will be the church minister, Pastor Rodney Stamper and Pastor John Waltermyer. Immediately following the funeral there will be a luncheon in the church social hall. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Attig, Nathan Comer, Daniel Hyde, Cari and Tim Krivacsy and Phil Marchini</p><p><br></p><p>Her family would appreciate memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to the church at the above address. </p>
