Arnold W. Trouten Sr., 75, of Rayland OH, passed away, Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, in Columbus, OH.

He was born March 8, 1948, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Albert and Glenna (Ziegler) Trouten.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ilona Trouten; his sister, Connie Taylor and his grandson, Arnold W. Trouten III.

Arnold retired from Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway. After retirement, he was employed with Comfort Inn, in Weirton, WV, in the maintenance department.

He is survived by his children, Dawn (Monte) Warrick, Dena (Brian) Johnson, Arnold Trouten Jr (Tracy Atwood) and Dustin Trouten (Jim Honick); his brother, Wayne (Kaye) Trouten; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Izzy.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Arnold and celebrate his life on Tuesday, March 21st, from 3 pm until the time of memorial services of 6:30 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Pastor Jim Monogioudis officiating.

Burial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
