ANGELA M. AIRD

MUSCATINE, Iowa - Angela M. Aird, 56, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, at home.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Bruce Martin will officiate. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m., on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association.

Angela was born on December 17, 1966, in Ames, the daughter of Larry and Jacqueline Meyer Schroeder. She married Samuel H. Aird on May 20, 1989, in Muscatine.

She graduated from Muscatine High School in 1985 and got her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from University of Iowa. She taught school in Muscatine. She was a member of Calvary Church and worked most recently as a Direct Service Provider with Goodwill of the Heartland.

Angela enjoyed people, she was very social. She loved her family and friends and her beloved Bella.

She is survived by her husband, Sam of Muscatine; one daughter, Grace R. Aird of Muscatine; her parents, Larry and Jacqueline Schroeder of Muscatine; three siblings, Kim Bohnenkamp and her husband, Neal, of Galena, Illinois, Lee Schroeder and his partner, Justin Sprague, of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, and Beth Finn and her husband, Aaron, of Muscatine; three nieces, three nephews, two great nephews, and one great niece; mother-in-law, Sue Thielmann and her husband, Paul, of Muscatine; and two brothers-in-law, Spencer Thielmann and Karl Thielmann.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, and her father-in-law, Robert Aird.
