David A. Fox
<p>Collins - David A. Fox, of Collins, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at his home under the care of Hospice Buffalo. He was born on December 27, 1948 in Buffalo, son of the late David and Eleanor (Lyons) Fox.</p><p><br></p><p>After his high school graduation, David enlisted in the US Navy and would later work at the Erie County Water Authority, in Cheektowaga. He was married to the former Doreen Nielsen, who survives. David enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and was a member of the Boston Conservation Club. He always kept himself busy, and enjoyed finding the next project to fiddle with around the house.</p><p><br></p><p>Beside his wife, David is survived by a son, Tad (Renae) Dombroski of North Collins, and a daughter, Nicole R. Fox of West Falls. Also surviving are two step-sons, Tim (Missy) Ullinger of East Otto, and Brian (Melanie) Ullinger of Cassadaga, and a step-daughter, Carrie (Ted) Heio of Jamestown. Also surviving are several grandchildren, grand-pups, nieces, and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Besides his parents, David is predeceased by his first wife, Sandra Fox on September 18, 1990, and his brother, Robert Fox.</p><p><br></p><p>Private family services will be held.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements are under the direction of Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 East Main St. Gowanda.</p>December 27, 1948 - March 17, 202312/27/194803/17/2023
