Mae Myers

<p>Mae B. Myers ,93, of Tyrone, entered her eternal home early Thursday morning, March 16, 2023. She was born on December 17, 1929 in Philipsburg the daughter of the late Victor Carl and Anna V. (Anderson) Brolin. On January 25, 1952, at the Nebo Lutheran Church in Grassflat, PA she married Jack Myers who preceded her in death on December 28, 2014.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving are five children: Colleen (Chris) Smith, Sharon (Terry) Lalli, Gwen (Pat) Singler, and Kenneth (Lisa J.) and Gary (Beth) Myers, all of Tyrone: three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, and former son-in-law: Mike Singler. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Michelle (Smith) Bridges. </p><p><br></p><p>Mae was a member of First English Lutheran Church where she was a Sunday School and nursery teacher for years. She was also on the counting team with the church, and a member of the Lutheran Church Women. She was also a member of the Tyrone Hospital Auxiliary. Prior to her marriage to Jack, she was a bookkeeper for Wolf Furniture Store, Philipsburg.</p><p><br></p><p>She enjoyed bowling and playing cards. She loved her neighborhood and took pride in her house. She would visit the beach with her family but was never a water person. She was a wonderful homemaker and mother, and a friend to all, she loved her family and her children, and her cat Tiny</p><p><br></p><p>Friends will be received on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 3-7 pm at the funeral home, and on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of service. An 11 am funeral service for Mae B. Myers will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the Feller Memorial Home with Pastor Sharon Erb officiating. Interment will be made at Grassflat Lanse Lutheran Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to First English Lutheran Church, 17 W 13th St., Tyrone, PA, 16686.</p>
