<p> Ralph Dale Allbee age 79 of Harrison passed away at his home on Monday, March 20, 2017. Mr. Allbee was born December 3, 1937 in Summerfield Township, Clare County, Michigan, the son of Ralph K. and Florence (Volmer) Allbee. On March 14th, 1956, Ralph enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. Upon returning home from serving his country, Mr. Allbee was united in marriage to Ms. Patricia Brown on June 27, 1959 in Au Gres, Michigan. Ralph was a longtime resident of Harrison, spending a few years residing in Flint, Michigan, during his twenty-eight years employed with General Motors Corporation.</p><p> Mr. Allbee was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Harrison, Knights of Columbus Council #7571 of Harrison, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #2235 of Harrison and AMVETS. Ralph was very active with his church and the service organizations he was a member of. He gave countless hours volunteering, and giving back to his community. Ralph was known for his magnetic personality, kindness and gentle demeanor. </p><p> Surviving Mr. Allbee is survived by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Mrs. Patricia Allbee of Harrison, one daughter, Deborah Beasley and husband Linwood of Harrison, one son, Russell Allbee of Flint, two grandchildren; Tiffany Maxwell of Hammond, Indiana and Corey David Maxwell and wife Amanda of Franklin, North Carolina, three great-grandchildren; Quinlan Slinkard, Paytin Meyer and Corey David Maxwell Jr., one brother, Frank Allbee and wife Theresa of Midland, Michigan, several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Mr. Allbee was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Johanna DeForest and one brother, Percy Leroy Allbee. </p><p> Funeral Mass for Mr. Allbee will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Harrison with Father Marcel Portelli officiating. Visitation for Ralph will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Harrison from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Military honors will be under the auspices of the V.F.W. Post 1075 and the American Legion Post 404, both of Harrison. Memorial gifts in memory of Mr. Allbee may be considered to the Allbee family, in care of: Mrs. Patricia Allbee.
