Patricia Ann Payne 88 of Harrison, Michigan passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at North Woods Nursing Center, Farwell, Michigan. Patricia was born August 21, 1928 in Long Beach, California, the daughter of Joseph and Irene (Pickering) George.

Mrs. Payne had resided in Harrison since 2007, coming from St. Clair Shores and Detroit, Michigan. Patricia was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Harrison. Patricia believed in civility and courtesy and lived it every day.

Surviving Patricia is her daughter, Ellen Moss and husband Roger Westberg of Harrison, son, David George Moss of Kenmore, Washington, one granddaughter, Veronica Patricia Moss of Kenmore, Washington, two family friends; Jacquelin Curtin of St. Clair Shores, Michigan and Rose Gallagher of Oakland, California. Mrs. Payne was preceded in death by her parents, Irene Miller (Pickering), Joseph George, her beloved step-dad, Elmer “Abby” Miller, and son, John Marshall Payne.

In keeping with Patricia’s wishes, no services will be held. Inurnment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Detroit, Michigan.
