She was born July 13, 1937 to Fayette and Addie Ruth Reese in Lawrenceville, Georgia. <br /><br />Mrs. Cofer is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Barbara Welch of Ball Ground; grandchildren, Beau and Melissa Welch of Ball Ground, Cole Welch of Ball Ground, Morgan Browne of Talking Rock, and Travis Carrier of Sacramento, California; great-grandchildren, Peyton Young of Jasper, Casey Young of Jasper and Zoey Welch of Ball Ground. Several nieces and nephews also survive. <br /><br />She was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Cofer; son, Michael Welch; brothers, Reverend Billy Reese and Larry Reese.<br /><br />Services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Georgia. <br /><br />The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Friday, March 17, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.<br /><br />Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory. <br /><br /><br />
