Nova Mae Sheets Henderson
<p>Nova Mae Sheets Henderson, 94, of Fairview passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. She was born on March 28, 1928, in Wadestown, WV, a daughter of the late Forrest E. and Myrtle V. Haught Snider.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie Joe Henderson.</p><p><br></p><p>Mrs. Henderson attended Noah’s Ark Assembly of God in Fairview and Daybrook Methodist Church in Daybrook.</p><p><br></p><p>She worked as a homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to country music, where she attended many local concerts in the area. She also enjoyed bird watching, gardening, traveling, and cooking for her beloved friends and family.</p><p><br></p><p>She is also survived by two sons, Bill and his wife Michelle Sheets of Fairmont and Rick and his wife Karen Sheets of Beverly, WV, one sister, Gay McDonald of Manley Chapel Community, twelve grandchildren, Ian Sheets, Janelle Morgan, Carla Sheets, Randy Sheets II, Liberty Glover, Amber Sheets, Ron Sheets II, Kalee Vincent, Amy Clutter, Adrienne Buonaiuto, Damian Burnsworth, and Shyanna Sheets, twenty-three great grandchildren, two sister-in-laws, Carol Snider of Mannington, WV and Ressie Snider of Idamay, WV, one daughter-in-law, Cindy Sheets of Fairmont, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, Randy and Ron Sheets, two brothers, Jack and Bob Snider, and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Sheets.</p><p><br></p><p>The Henderson Family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street Fairmont, WV 26554. Friends may be received on Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 2-8 pm and Monday, March 20, 2023 from 10-11 am. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 11 am with Pastor Freddie Eddy presiding. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont, WV.
