<p>ROTHEN </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Thomas Leon Rothen, 79, of London, died Tuesday, March 14, 2023, in his residence surrounded by his loving family. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Born December 3, 1943, in Dayton, he was a son of Ozza Thomas and Elene (Jones) Rothen. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; After graduating from London High School, Thomas went on to join the United States Army where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Following his time in the service, Thomas worked as a farmer in and around Madison County, and later became a custodian for the Jonathan Alder School District. Tom loved his family dearly, and his favorite pastime was spending time together and making new memories. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Thomas leaves behind his beloved wife of 57 years Betty (Bowser) Rothen; children Toby (Tina) Rothen, David Rothen, Rebekah (Richard) Reagan, and April (Daniel) Davidson; grandchildren Misty (David), Andrew, Kylie, Stephen, David, and James; along with several other family members. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Per Thomas’ request, public services will not be observed. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The family is being served by the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, where condolences are encouraged to be shared online at www.eberlefisherfuneralhome.com. </p>

                Thomas Leon Rothen, 79, of London, died Tuesday, March 14, 2023, in his residence surrounded by his loving family.

                Born December 3, 1943, in Dayton, he was a son of Ozza Thomas and Elene (Jones) Rothen.

                After graduating from London High School, Thomas went on to join the United States Army where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Following his time in the service, Thomas worked as a farmer in and around Madison County, and later became a custodian for the Jonathan Alder School District. Tom loved his family dearly, and his favorite pastime was spending time together and making new memories.

                Thomas leaves behind his beloved wife of 57 years Betty (Bowser) Rothen; children Toby (Tina) Rothen, David Rothen, Rebekah (Richard) Reagan, and April (Daniel) Davidson; grandchildren Misty (David), Andrew, Kylie, Stephen, David, and James; along with several other family members.

                Per Thomas’ request, public services will not be observed.
