Hayes, Mary Anne (Murphy) of Arlington, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2023. Mary Anne was born in Newport, RI, the second of ten children to Henry and Mary Anne Murphy. She graduated from Salve Regina College in Newport, RI with a math degree. She soon married her husband, Charles W. Hayes, a Naval Officer, raising her family and teaching High School Math wherever the Navy took them. She loved cooking, puzzles, reading and taking care of her family with patience and grace. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, her four children (Kevin, Bill, Maureen and Chris) and Nana to seven grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St, ARLINGTON on Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM Friday morning at St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford Street, Arlington.
