Susan Cook Crane age 74 passed away on February 26th 2023 in Charlotte NC. 

She was a devoted grandmother, mother, Charlotte Mecklenburg school teacher, and friend to many through out her 74 years with us.

 Mrs Crane served as the art teacher for Huntersville Elementary school in Huntersville for 30+ years as well as other elementary schools in the northern part of CMS school system. She was also a member or Myers Park Baptist in Charlotte NC for nearly 40 years as well as a member of the church choir there for 30+ years. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Francis J Cook and Nan McCall Cook. She is survived by her son Nicholas Crane, his wife Christin and their three children, Ethan, Landon, and Evelyn of Mt Holly NC. She is also survived by her brother Stuart A. Cook and his wife Lorna of Atlanta GA with 6 children, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

A service will be held for a celebration of her life on March 25, 2023 at 1pm which would have been her 75th birthday, in the sanctuary of Myers Park Baptist Church on Selwyn Ave and Queens Road in Charlotte NC.After the service there will be a receiving of friends in the great hall of Myers Park Baptist Church.
