Her Legacy… Jody Jones was born on January 27, 1933, in Kinzua, Oregon born to Emmett and Gertrude Snyder. Jody passed away on March 11, 2023, in Oroville, California. She married the love of her life Joe in 1953. She was honored and proud to be a homemaker caring for and loving her husband and children. She loved the lord and was a prayer warrior for her family.

She was a beloved Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma, as well as a Sister and Aunt. She loved being involved with sporting events of Joe, Greg, Doug and her Grandchildren. She cherished all the times she helped Cindy with making prom dresses, cheerleading and song leading uniforms. She enjoyed, swimming, sewing, dancing with Joe, music and loved John Wayne. She took tremendous pride in decorating her indoor and outdoor landscaping for every holiday. Most of all she loved and admired all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren participating in every sporting events, graduations, special occasions and holidays.

Her Family… Jody is survived by her children – Greg and Helen Jones of Oroville; Doug and Vickie Jones of Chico, and Cindy and Pat Tavelli of Oroville, Sister Dorothy Long, Grandchildren Angelo and Emilee Tavelli, Josh Tavelli and Stacy Geach, Skylar and Ida Jones, Lisa and Bill Snyder, Stephanie and Pat Skuse, Julie and Eli Harris, Shawnae and Tom Coddington, and Zeni Bradford, 10 Great Grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. Jody was proceeded in death by her parents Emmett and Gertrude Snyder, her sisters Louise Nott, Mary Martin, and brothers Gerrard Snyder, Dale Snyder, and Jim Snyder.

Her Farewell Service… Jody’s Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 10:00am at St. Thomas Catholic Church located at 1330 Bird St. Oroville CA 95966. Arrangements entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home (530)534-3877.
