Mr. James Clifford Thompson, age 75, a native of East Brewton, AL and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. He graduated from W.S. Neal High School in East Brewton, AL. He was a piping superintendent in the paper industry, loved fishing, hunting, golf, Nascar, Alabama football, Alabama basketball and cooking. He was a great cook. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Thompson, Sr., mother, Annie Louvean Smith Thompson, son, James Timothy Thompson, brothers, Robert Lee Thompson, Jr., Lorenzo Lee Thompson, sister, Erma Ruth Thompson Harper. He is survived by his wife, Ramona Chenault Thompson of Mobile, AL, son, Jonathan Thompson of Spring, TX, granddaughters, Alex, Kate and Charlotte all of Spring, TX, sisters, Nancy Thompson Douglas and Annie "Butch" Thompson Tedder both of East Brewton, AL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 12 noon. Visitation will be 11am until service time Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be Mobile Memorial Gardens.
