Steven P. Richards
<p>Steven Paul Richards, Sr., 59, of Sandston, Virginia, born October 15, 1963, left this life on March 9, 2023 to be in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. Steve was a hardworking, kind and caring man, who will be missed deeply by his family and friends. Steve excelled in his profession as a woodworker and cabinet maker and enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially fishing and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Jr. of Chesterfield, and his father, Lew Richards of Powhatan. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Richards of Amelia; brother, Mike Richards (Sarah) of Houston, TX; step-mother Marilyn Richards of Powhatan; step-brothers Greg Douglas (Rindy) and Jeff Douglas of Chesterfield; aunt, Diann Richards, and cousins, Robert Richards and Jackie Powell (Lynn) of Amelia. A memorial service will be communicated at a later date. Donations in Steve’s remembrance can be made to the Amelia County Rescue Squad or Arbor Baptist Church in Amelia, VA.</p>Obituary
