Donna K. Boughter Obituary

Donna Chirozzi Boughter, 77, went to be with the Lord the morning of March 15, 2023. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Always willing to lend a helping hand and ear, Donna’s kindness and generous caring heart will remain steadfast for anyone who crossed her path.

Donna was born November 9, 1945 in New Castle to the late Domenick and Selma Chirozzi. She married David Boughter in 1965. She was graduate of Union High School and received a BS from Youngstown State University.

Donna spent the earlier years of her career working at Shenango China and her later career years working for Beaver County Office on Aging where she deeply cared for each and every one of her patients treating them much like her own family.

When Donna wasn’t helping others or cheering on her family, she could be found designing new crafts, watching Tom Selleck on TV, and spending time with her beloved pug dogs. She loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and grandpuppies with every ounce of her being and would talk about them every chance she had an opportunity to do so.

Her kindness was something special along with her amazing spirit and her family will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest and spreading kindness daily just as Donna did.

Preceding her in death was her husband David Boughter, and parents Domenick and Selma Chirozzi.

Donna is survived by her children: Andrea Schry, Renee Boughter, Erin Hill and Amee Boughter all of New Castle. Donna also leaves behind 3 siblings: Kathy Abraham and Karleen Chirozzi both of New Castle and Thomas Chirozzi of Nevada. 5 grandchildren: Evan Hill of Illinois, Miranda Schry of California, Cambyl Schry of Pittsburgh, Jordan Hill of New Castle and Preston Schry of New Castle and 2 great grandchildren: Ariana Simons and Amelia Giancola.

To honor Donna’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. We invite you to privately celebrate Donna’s memories in your own ways.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
