<p>Bennie Roger Brown, 79 of Charleston passed away at Althea Woodland Nursing Home, Silver Spring, Maryland.</p><p><br></p><p>Preceding him in death were his wife of 52 years, Anna (Perry) Brown, and grandson, Joseph Kelly Ford.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving are his children, Annette Ford (Kelly) of Clear Brook, Virginia, Bennie Brown Jr. (Traci) of Martinsburg, Cole Brown of Yakima, Washington; sister, Lynn Adkins of Dutch Ridge; brother, Rob Brown of Ohio; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces; and many in-laws he considered as his own brothers and sisters, too.</p><p><br></p><p>After serving two tours in Vietnam (USMC) and leaving the military, he wore many hats. A general manager, a business owner and a truck driver. There were 3 seasons in his life, hunting, gardening and football.</p><p><br></p><p>Interment will be at Montgomery Memorial Park, London.
