<p>Bennie Roger Brown, 79 of Charleston passed away at Althea Woodland Nursing Home, Silver Spring, Maryland.</p><p><br></p><p>Preceding him in death were his wife of 52 years, Anna (Perry) Brown, and grandson, Joseph Kelly Ford.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving are his children, Annette Ford (Kelly) of Clear Brook, Virginia, Bennie Brown Jr. (Traci) of Martinsburg, Cole Brown of Yakima, Washington; sister, Lynn Adkins of Dutch Ridge; brother, Rob Brown of Ohio; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces; and many in-laws he considered as his own brothers and sisters, too.</p><p><br></p><p>After serving two tours in Vietnam (USMC) and leaving the military, he wore many hats. A general manager, a business owner and a truck driver. There were 3 seasons in his life, hunting, gardening and football.</p><p><br></p><p>Interment will be at Montgomery Memorial Park, London. Bennie Roger Brown, 79 of Charleston passed away at Althea Woodland Nursing Home, Silver Spring, Maryland.


Preceding him in death were his wife of 52 years, Anna (Perry) Brown, and grandson, Joseph Kelly Ford.
