<p>March 1st 2023, The day I found out you died my heart was torn in two, one half stayed with me and the other went with you.</p><p><br></p><p>The memories will stay, it’s all I have.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>They will be in my mind and stay the same.</p><p><br></p><p>Those are mine to keep and will be replayed everyday.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Remembering you is easy, always Grandpa Santa to my boys, always daddy to me.</p><p><br></p><p>Missing you is a heartache that’ll never go away.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends, he’s in our hearts, forever he will be.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>We will all miss you daddy, Especially me.</p><p><br></p><p>~Courtney Thiel</p><p><br></p><p>Rodney R. Teal was born to the parentage of Robert &amp; JoAnn Teal, on September 21, 1973, in Antigo, Wisconsin.</p><p>Rodney loved living in Alaska and the time he was able to spend hunting and fishing. He looked forward to his annual fishing trip to Chitina and would come back with just as many tales as fish.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents Robert H. Teal and JoAnn M. Teal and his infant sister, Becky.</p><p><br></p><p>Rodney unexpectedly passed away on March 1, 2023.</p><p><br></p><p>Leaving to cherish his memories: wife of 17 years, Sheila Teal of Delta Junction, AK, one daughter: Courtney Thiel (Jacob) of Antigo, WI; grandsons: Oliver Thiel, and Gerald Thiel both of Antigo, WI; one sister: Teresa Behnke (Tim) of Wausau, WI; brothers: Robert Teal (Kathleen) of Deerbrook, WI and Randy Teal of Antigo, WI.</p><p><br></p><p>Join us in a potluck to celebrate Rod on March 25th from 4pm-8pm at the JP Jones Community Center in the multi-purpose room. Please bring a dish to share that reminds you of our dear departed friend.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 27, 2023, at 1 pm Chapel of Chimes Funeral Home</p><p>415 Illinois St. Fairbanks, AK 99701</p><p><br></p>

Our family sends our deepest sympathy. Rod was one of the greatest to work alongside in the Auto Hobby shop when we would take our vehicles in. Such a kindhearted man.
