Martin Milton Goodman

Martin Milton Goodman, 93, of Richmond, VA, passed away on March 10, 2023. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 61 years, Betty Wanderer Goodman; mother, Alice E. Goodman; sister, Beverly King; and nephew, Robert King. He is survived by his children, Donna Thompson (Wayne), Lawrence Goodman; grandchildren, David Thompson (Paola), Robert Vaughan, Michael Vaughan, Katarina Goodman, Noah Goodman; great-grandchild, Max Vaughan; and his beloved rescue pit-bull, Queenie. Martin served his country proudly in both the U.S. Army and Coast Guard Reserves, after which he went on to found a successful auto parts business, Goody’s Auto Parts. He will be remembered as someone who valued justice, worked hard, and was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m., March 20, 2023, at Richmond Beth-El Cemetery, 4000 Pilot’s Lane, in Richmond. In lieu of flowers, please honor his memory by donating to Heart An Soul Animal Foundation, as rescuing dogs was a cause he valued dearly.
