Freda Gerald Faubus born March 13, 1940, passed on to her heavenly home Monday, March 13, 2023. She loved her cats, chickens and all animals. She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert (Boss) and Etta (Tate) Metheny; also her siblings Jerry Metheny, Rose Moreton.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years Nolan and a daughter Debbie (Roy) Kendrick; her siblings Dean Metheny (Donna) of Van Buren, Loretta Clark of Van Buren, Brenda Nance of Dallas, Texas; two step grandsons Kris (Courtney) Kendrick of Conway, Kolby (Alexis) Kendrick of Fort Smith; two step great grandsons Cohen and Conner Kendrick; many nieces and nephews.

Thank to Baptist Neuro ICU doctors and nurses in Little Rock for their care and kindness.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Almost Home Animal Shelter in Van Buren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Gracelawn Cemetery Arbor in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Kris Kendrick, Kolby Kendrick, Korey House and Fred Lincks.
