It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Swanson announce his sudden passing on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the age of 50.

Michael was born in Long Branch, New Jersey to Francisca and Ronald Swanson. He graduated from Alamogordo High School and then went on to be a dedicated employee to Vision Ford Motor Company in Alamogordo for almost 10 years. His favorite hobby was watching the NFL and supporting his all-time favorite team, The New York Giants. He was a devoted father and loved his daughters and family dearly. 

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Francisca Swanson and father, Ronald Swanson, as well as his brother, Eric Swanson and sister, Francis Swanson. 

He is survived by his daughters, Victoria Swanson and Ashley Schenk both of Alamogordo, NM, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm on March 18, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

The Rosary for Michael Swanson will be recited at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated following Rosary with Father Martin Cornejo, Celebrant.

Burial will follow services at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.

The Swanson family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
