John J. Garrity

<p>John J. Garrity, 44, of Jessup PA., passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 12, surrounded by his</p><p>friends and family.</p><p>Born in Scranton, he was the son of John and Anita Cimino Garrity, Blakely. John was a member of</p><p>Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Peckville. He was a graduate of Valley View High School class of 1996. He</p><p>worked as a plumber for Martarano Plumbing and Heating.</p><p>John was a loving father of his twin boys, Frankie, and Johnny. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved</p><p>hunting and fishing. His favorite pastime was teaching his two boys how to be an outdoorsman like their</p><p>father. John also was a sports fan and enjoyed watching the New York Giants &amp; New York Mets.</p><p>The family wishes to send a special thank you to the ICU staff at Geisinger CMC and Dr. Karim Djekidel</p><p>for their care and compassion during this difficult time.</p><p>Surviving are his two sons, Johnny &amp; Frankie Garrity, Jessup; his brother Scott Garrity and wife Sarah,</p><p>Archbald; his goddaughter and nephew Amelia &amp; Carson Garrity, Archbald; along with many uncles,</p><p>aunts, and cousins.</p><p>The Funeral will be on Saturday, March 25 th with mass of Christian burial at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart</p><p>Church, Peckville. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private at the convenience of the</p><p>family. Arrangments are under the care and direction of James M.
