<p>Rittman -- Greg A. Meade, age 65, of Rittman, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday morning, March 14, 2023, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>Greg was born on April 2, 1957, in Wadsworth, Ohio, to the late Walter and Norma (Seebauer) Meade and graduated from Rittman High School with the class of 1975. &nbsp;He married Stephanie René Tylka on May 13, 2006, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Rittman, and they have been very happily married for nearly 17 years. </p><p><br></p><p>He had worked at Merriweather Foam in Barberton for the last 20 years, and was still actively employed.</p><p><br></p><p>Greg was always helping others, always smiling, and had an overwhelmingly generous heart. He was the caretaker for his grandmother and his mother, who just passed away three months prior, and his wife, René. He was a lover of cats and dogs, and would often feed the neighborhood strays, and went out of his way to take those cats to shelters where they would be safe. He truly loved his cat Snowball, the Cleveland Indians, Cavs, and Browns, and enjoyed sharing season tickets with his brother from 1978-'95 going to Browns games. He was a collector, and had acquired numerous amounts of marbles, sports cards, and comic books. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving are his wife, René, of Rittman; brother, James (Nora) Meade of Doylestown; two sisters, Peggy Meade (Greg) Jerome of Coventry Township, and Lisa (Erin) Neider of Wooster; his in-laws, Stephen and Laura Tylka of Wadsworth; two sisters-in-law, Cynthia (Greg) Laudermilt of North Lawrence, Tracy (Joe Rymsza) Tylka of Ostrander, OH; brother-in-law, Mark (Angela Ryan) Tylka of Wadsworth; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends may call from 10-11am on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman.</p><p><br></p><p>Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman. Burial will take place at Rittman Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church, 139 S. 1st St., Rittman, OH 44270 or St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown, OH 44230.</p><p><br></p><p>Auble-Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman is handling the arrangements.
