<p>Bonifacio "Uncle Bobby" Rodriguez Jr, 73, passed away on Wednesday March 8th 2023. The son of Bonifacio and Generosa Rodriguez was born December 29, 1949.</p><p><br></p><p>Uncle Bobby grew up 2nd of 3 children. He lived in Brooklyn New York where in 1969 he joined the US Army.</p><p><br></p><p>In 1971 he married Roswitha where they spent 16 years together. February 9th, 1974 they had their first child , their daughter Nicole. August 8, 1977 they had a second child , their son Bryan.</p><p><br></p><p>More than anything Bobby loved his family and his country as evident of his 26 years of service. In 1995 he retired from the US Army with honors at the rank of Sergant Major. In his retirement years he enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and family and was an avid bike rider. He looked forward to and enjoyed his weekend bike rides with his family.</p><p><br></p><p>Bobby is survived by his children, Nicole and Bryan, Anna, his daughter in law, he is further survived by his nieces and nephews, Lucy, Carmen, Maribel, Eddy, David, Maritza, Miriam, Marilyn and Alberto, who saw him not just as an uncle but a father as well. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonifacio and Generosa and his siblings Leonida and Angel.</p><p><br></p><p>Of all the many blessings however great or small, to have had you in our life was the greatest one of all. The family chain is broken now and nothing seems the same, but as God takes us one by one, the chain will link again.</p><p><br></p><p>A visitation will be held Friday, March 17th, 2023 from 12PM-2PM with a service to begin at 2PM. at the Wimberg Funeral Home, 211 E Great Creek Rd,, Galloway NJ</p>December 29, 1949 - March 8, 202312/29/194903/08/2023
