Olga B. Weigel Obituary

Olga Bueno Weigel, 72, passed away in Corpus Christi on March 11, 2023, after a brief illness surrounded by her family.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that will be dearly missed by everyone that loved her.

She was born October 7, 1950, in Kingsville, Tx to Valentin and Concepcion Bueno. She spent her childhood in Sarita, Tx where she grew up on the Turcotte Ranch.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, her hobbies of jigsaw puzzles, and crossword puzzles. And her two Yorkies, Bruiser and Buddy. She also enjoyed family gatherings, cookouts, music, mariachi, ballet folklorico, craft shows, shopping, day trips out and about. She was always ready to try out new restaurants with her husband and was definitely a food critic.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Valentin and Concepcion "Chona" Bueno; brothers, Gustavo Bueno, Israel Bueno, Ismael Bueno, Ruben Bueno Sr, and Demencio Bueno Sr.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years Fred Weigel; sisters, Blanca Hobbs (Bill), Janie Mata (Juan), Dora Hill (Steve); brother, Valdemar (Ester) Bueno; son, Ramiro Morales (Joyce); daughter, Renee Isassi (Joseph); grandchildren, Robert Reyes (Teresa), Noreen Reyes(Aaron), Ramy Morales(Amber), and Lexi Morales(Eric); 7 great grandchildren, one on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 19, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a holy rosary at 7:00 PM at Turcotte Piper Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. Gertrude Catholic Church. Entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Corpus Christi.
