Thomas "Tom" Morrissey Jr., age 49, of White Oak, passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2023.
After graduating from McKeesport High School in 1991, Tom attended California University of Pennsylvania.  There he met his wife, Christine, and made lasting friendships as a Phi Kappa Theta fraternity member and playing for the Roosterhead Rugby club team.  Tom was an avid outdoorsman; he loved telling and retelling a good story, watching the Penguins,  listening to Johnny Cash, and all things Irish. After college, Tom built homes with Warren & Alcott Construction before moving on to wastewater treatment plant start-up and operations.  Most recently, he worked for PA American Water at their McKeesport facility.
Tom was a proud father of Emily and Kelly and thoroughly enjoyed supporting all aspects of their various activities.
He was a lifetime member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and a longtime member of the Smithton Sportsman Association.  Tom also had a grass-cutting business where he enjoyed providing a much-needed, dependable service to many of his elderly customers.
He will always be remembered with much love by his parents, Thomas and Norene (Kozdras) Morrissey, his daughters Emily and Kelly, his wife Christine, sister Kim (Tim) Kennedy, and a long list of deeply-saddened Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and extended family.
Those we love don't go away.  Tom will walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, and forever loved.
Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com
