Barbara Ann Leibrand Polsky

Barbara Ann Leibrand Polsky age 81 went home on March 14, 2023. Barbara was the loving mother of Bobby McQuaid, his wife Mary, Arthur Tyas, Jeffrey Tyas, his wife the late Midge, Denise Shields, her husband Robert, Beth Tyas, Sharon Schultze, her husband Jeff, and the late Sean McQuaid. She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren Michael, Megan, Shane, Amber, Kristofer, Michele, Jennifer, Stephen, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Raymond, Jessica, great grandchildren Mason, Carmichael, Maddie, Remy, Charlotte, husband Harold Polsky, beloved nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Barbara graduated from Jefferson Hospital and received her LPN in 1980. She enjoyed taking care of people and worked most of her years at Episcopal Hospital. She enjoyed making crafts, crocheting and sewing gifts for family, friends and herself. She even made some dresses for her children’s wedding. She loved to travel and take casino cruises. She was fun person and enjoyed making everyone laugh. All those who knew Barbara will miss her dearly although her spirit will live on through them.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family, Friday, March 17, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Lambie Funeral Home 8000 Rowland Avenue (At Rhawn Street). Her service will follow Friday 11:00 am at the funeral home. Barbara will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Cemetery with her son Sean and her late husband James Windfelder.
