Juan C. Rivera of Monticello, a former resort housekeeping employee, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Garnet Health Medical Center in Harris. He was 87.

The son of the late Florencio Rivera and Teresa Fuentes, he was born April 28, 1935 in Corozal, Puerto Rico.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17 from 11:00 am to 1:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello, with a prayer service starting at approx 12:30pm. Burial will follow at the Liberty Cemetery.
