Shirley J. (Martin) Wiley, 90, residing in Milan, passed away Monday evening, March 13, 2023 at her home after a brief illness.

Shirley was born on September 6, 1932 in Ashland, OH to the late George G. and Gladys P. (Bone) Martin.

Shirley was raised at the Flat Rock Children's Home which influenced her throughout her life. She retired from Firelands Regional Medical Center on her 80th birthday after more than 35 years at South Campus working in housekeeping. Shirley enjoyed bird watching, puzzles, baking, and crossword puzzles, but most of all she treasured time with her family and friends.

Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Amy Jensen of Milan and Linda (Larry) Widman of Fremont; one son, Randy (Linda) Bilger of Bellevue; eight grandchildren, Elrik, Tessa, Lea, Rita, Angela, Larry Jr., Elizabeth and Stephanie; several great-grandchildren; three brothers, Loren and George Martin, both of Ashland, OH, and Robert (Joyce) Martin of Belfair, WA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her sister, Patricia E. Zellner and her brother, Dwayne Martin.

Friends may call on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of Memorial Services at 11:00 am at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1 S. Main St., Milan, OH with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding.
