Jean Lauraine Sparry
<p>Passed away at Groves Memorial Hospital in her 90th year. A lifelong resident of Elora and member of the Elora United Church. She had many friends in the community through UCW, Card Club, Sewing and Knitting hobbies.</p><p><br></p><p>Survived by daughters Linda Kraemer (Paul), Janice Williams (Alan), sister, Gladys Gibson, sisters in law, Elsie Pickett and Ann Pringle; grandchildren, Amanda LePage (Andre), Nicole Griffiths (Nathan), Jeffrey and Danielle Williams, Justin Steuernol (Holly); great grandchildren, Beau, Lucy, Ava, Cohen, Wade and Emily.</p><p><br></p><p>Predeceased by husband, David (1995); daughter, Bonnie Runge (2021); grandson, Curtis (2006); parents Arthur (1967) and Alberta Smith (2006); sister, Helen Veldhuis (Fred); sister in law Margaret Kelly (Ward); brothers in law Bob Sparry (Merlene); Jim Sparry (Audrey); David Pickett; Bob Pringle and Ham Gibson.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 11 AM – 12 PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home in Elora. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12 PM at the Funeral Home. Following the service, guests are invited across the street to Hope Springs United Church for a time of fellowship and refreshments. A private burial is to be held.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the newly named Hope Springs United Church, Elora; Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.</p><p><br></p>Obituary
