<p>In Honor and Remembrance of Scotty Workman </p><p>Scotty David Workman, age 50, of 5761 Mt. Zion Rd in Snow Camp, NC, passed away at this home surrounded by family and friends on March 9th, 2023. Scotty was born on April 18, 1972 to his parents Betty and Doug Scott and Lonnie and Liz Workman. He was a veteran of the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division. He loved serving his country and jumping out of planes. </p><p>Scotty was a kind and gentle soul; a wonderful husband, father, brother and son. He never met a person&nbsp; that he couldn’t talk to&nbsp; and&nbsp; could always bring a smile&nbsp;&nbsp; and laughter &nbsp;to anyone around him. Always kind and caring, he was a hard worker and loved his job at C-N-S Truck Service working with his family and co-workers. He will be truly missed. </p><p>Scotty leaves behind a loving wife, best friend and soul mate, Charisma Workman; two sons: Hunter Jacobs and Chris Jacobs; his loving mother, Betty Faye and dad, Doug Scott and his pop, Lonnie&nbsp; and Liz Workman. </p><p>Scotty had three loving sisters&nbsp; and brothers: Wendy Workman and “Broman” Jason Stayhorn, Tia and Craig Barbee, his baby sister, Michelle and Michael Stuart. Also, niece, Harper Stuart; 3 nephews: Blain Staryhorn, Cody Phillippie and Christian Barbee;&nbsp; and three grandsons:&nbsp; Carter, Blake, Karson. </p><p>A funeral service in honor of Scotty will be held at 11:00A.M., Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at&nbsp; Cross Roads Presbyterian Church, &nbsp;3302 NC-119, Mebane, NC 27302 with interment to follow at Cross Roads Presbyterian Cemetery </p><p>Arrangements entrusted to Piedmont Cremation and Funeral Service, Graham, NC. </p><p>&nbsp; </p>
