HAYES, Gwynneth (Gwen) P.

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Gwynneth Patricia Hayes (nee Kerr), at the age of 90 years, after a lengthy illness, at Hospice of Waterloo Region on March 9, 2023 with family by her side. Gwen is survived by her children Gregory (Linda), Jeffrey, Sean and Erin (Ronald Rigelhof) and by grandchildren Katrina (Conner) Rigelhof and Matthew (Amber) Rigelhof. She will also be missed by her sisters-in-law Colleen Kerr and Dorothy Turnbull, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Gwen was predeceased by her dear husband Charles; her parents Marion Boland and Thomas Kerr; her siblings Edna, Gorman, Ainslie, Eleanor, George, Monty, Brian and Maureen; her granddaughter Kayla Rigelhof; her brothers-in-law Rick Ross, Donald Pinsonneault, Alex Hayes and Edward Hayes; and sisters-in-law Dorene Kerr, Cecilia Hayes and Gloria Hayes.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum – Reception Room, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph, ON on March 20th with Visitation at 10:30 AM and the Funeral Liturgy at 11:00 AM., followed by inurnment of ashes.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice of Waterloo Region (HOWR) would be greatly appreciated by the family (https://www.hospicewaterloo.ca/). Cards will also be available at Marymount Cemetery.
