Sharon K. Marshall

<p>Sharon K. Marshall, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023&nbsp;at MHP Medical Center. </p><p>Born November 26, 1945 in Bloomington, Illinois, she was the daughter of Malcolm&nbsp;Ashbrook and Loretta (Ray) Ashbrook.&nbsp; She married Larry G. Marshall on April 1, 1966&nbsp;and he preceded her on November 2, 1996. </p><p>Survivors include 3 children- son Jeffrey Marshall (wife Joan) of Greenwood, 2 daughters&nbsp;Michelle Roland (husband Eric) of Morristown, Kimberly Willis of Anderson; a brother Fred Ashbrook of&nbsp;Indianapolis, a sister Thelma Richards of Bedford; 5 grandchildren- Anthony Jones, Amanda&nbsp;Ducote, Christopher Moore, Josh Willis, Shaina Birkemeyer; and one great grandchild-Journee Moore.&nbsp;She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, and several&nbsp;brothers and sisters. </p><p>Mrs. Marshall had lived in this area for most of her lifetime, and graduated from Shelbyville&nbsp;High School in 1964.&nbsp; She was a home maker, and also a member of Beacon Baptist&nbsp; Church,&nbsp;and American Legion Post #70.&nbsp;Sharon enjoyed hanging out with friends, dancing at the American Legion, and spending&nbsp;time with her family. </p><p>Funeral services will be 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Glenn E. George &amp; Son&nbsp;Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Larry Wheat officiating.&nbsp; Burial will be in Miller&nbsp;Cemetery.&nbsp;Friends may call on Saturday morning, at the funeral home, from 10:00 am until&nbsp;the time of the service. </p><p>Memorial contributions can be made to the Shelby County Cancer Association, in care of the funeral home.<br> &nbsp; </p>
