Jim Foster, age 82 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the Hospice House of Bowling Green. He was born in Central City, Kentucky on June 14, 1940 to the late James Lewis Foster, Sr. and Clairbell Brown Foster. He graduated from Muhlenburg County High School at the age of 16. He immediately enrolled in Austin Peay University graduating with a chemical engineering degree as well as minors in physics, mathematics, German and English. He attended the University of Georgia for his masters degree. He was the owner of Foster Insurance Agency for approximately 40 years. He became a very active member of Alcoholics Anonymous Local Chapter and has been sober since 1995 until this day. He is survived by:

A Celebration of Life for Jim Foster will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the United Methodist Temple with Pastor Michael Romans officiating. Visitation on Friday at the temple will be held from 12:00 noon until the service hour of 2:00 pm.
