<p>Doris C. Edwards of Hernando, MS, went home to be with the Lord on March 10, 2023, at the age of 88 years old. She was born on August 24, 1934 in Memphis, TN. Doris is survived by her husband James Harvey Edwards, her daughter Melissa “Lisa” Scruggs of Nesbit, her son James Harvey Jr. “Jim” of Hernando, her sisters Yvonne Kirk, Jean Gresham, and Troy Gresham all of Memphis, her brother Wilford Cawthon of Olive Branch, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

I remember when I would visit her with you and all the hummingbirds feeders she had in her yard. She was always so sweet to me. So so sorry about your mother.

Doris was the sweetest lady I ever knew. She was so welcoming and made the best pickles! She loved her flowers and hummin birds and she will truly be missed. Oh and she could write like no one else! Beautiful handwriting.
