A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Dedicated United States Air Force spouse, passed in peace on Monday, March 13, 2023. Sharon was a loving, dedicated, sharing, strong, and giving soul. She always had a smile on her face, a laugh in her talk, and a pep in her step.

Preceding her in death are her loving spouse of 57 years, Dr. Wilford Winston Box, a loving brother, Dean Christensen, and her parents, Leroy M Christensen and Laura L. Sell.

Left to treasure her memory and carry on her legacy are her daughters: Laura L. Tipton and her children; Thomas, Autumn, Logan, Cara, David, and Dakota. Daughter, Edith V. Nino and Husband Rene Nino. Sons, David E. Box and husband Venancio (Ben) Fuentes, Jr. Son, Brian E. Box and his wife Irelia and their children: Aidan, Edward, Jazmin, Daniel, and Benjamin.

Sharon will be fondly and dearly remembered by family and friends as a loving, dedicated, wife, and mother. A proud spouse of a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

A visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 17, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1315 Kings Way, Del Rio TX.

Interment to Follow at the Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 E. Del Rio TX.
